Why mail and not digital? People have justifiably asked why don't I simply build a forum or bulletin board on the site where people can leave their secrets or their dreams by typing rather than having to create or find a postcard and then mail it. Or why not just send digital files? The reason is simply that this site isn't about any one secret or dream as much as it's about the way people treat and interpret them when they put together their postcards. Creativity and art is a perfect way to explore and reflect on how we feel. It gives people a chance to spend a few minutes with what's inside. Even the act of dropping the card in the mailbox contributes to a sense of laccomplishment or liberation.
